New Civil Nuclear Constabulary Training Centre in Sellafield – nearing completion

Capra are the lead architects and ballistic design consultants for the new £39m accredited training facility in Sellafield.

The state-of-the-art new build will help deliver Civil Nuclear Constabulary’s ambition “to be recognised as the leading UK authority on the armed protection of civil nuclear facilities and material in transit.”

By working closely with the end users, we have designed and developed a flexible and safe training environment in which the CNC can provide world class training to be fully equipped and ready to respond to their mission to Deter, Defend, Deny and Recover.

The state-of-the-art training facility construction phase is nearing completion. More details on progress to follow
